Project "X"

From a bagger to a custom rigid theme bike!

We started with a 79 FLH swingarm frame.

Next, we removed the shocks, struts and swingarm.

After inspecting the frame before placing it on the frame jig, we noticed crappy welding around the neck and top motor mount on the backbone. We welded in two sections of round stock (in an "X" pattern) from the down tubes to the seat post. By doing this, it will keep the frame true when we cut out the backbone.
