Shovelhead Long Block
 
is an 80 or 88 cubic
inch displacement featuring a S&S crankcase, Sifton oil pump/breather
assembly and a stock or 4 5/8”
stroke flywheel, Timken bearings, a stock cam properly installed with a matched
pinion and cam gear with a Torrington bearing.
Assembly is supplied with a chrome nose cover and chrome lifter blocks which are
fitted with hydraulic tappets and stock style
pushrods. Cylinders are 3 1/2” stock style with standard compression pistons
and Hastings rings. Top end includes stock type single
plug heads with stainless valves, with shafts and arms installed. Order manifold
(flat seal type), stator and ignition system separately. Pre-run
factory tested for oil pump pressure.

S&S 124” Super
Sidewinder Plus Evolution Style Engines are
available in natural aluminum or polished finish and feature HVHP
oil pump, compression releases, piston cooling oil jets, chrome plated die cast
rocker covers, roller rocker arms, IST ignition system
billet timing cover and billet lifter blocks. The IST ignition system features
knock sensing technology that will prevent damage to
the engine due to detonation or knock. The
Super Sidewinder Plus will fit in any stock dimension frame or custom frame.
Other features include forged 10.8:1 pistons, 640 cam,
45/8” stroke flywheel and 45/8” bore Cylinders and is supplied with an
S&S “G” series carburetor. Factory assembled by S&S with
their 3 year warranty.

S&S 4” Bore
Super SidewinderTM Assembled Long Block is
a V2 style 4” bore with a 4 1/2” stroke that yields 113
cubic inches. Complete engines feature Super stock crankcase
assembly with Timken left main bearing, hydraulic
tappets, adjustable pushrods, roller rocker arms, single
plug heads (1993-up type) that have a high turbulence combustion
chamber, chrome two piece rocker covers, billet
oil pump, Super ‘G’ carb with correct air cleaner assembly,
forged pistons (10.1:1 compression), S&S 562 camshaft
(.560 lift) and flanged style gear cover with chrome
steel outer cover. The Super SidewinderTM is slightly
shorter than a stock V2 Big Twin so frame fit is not a
concern. Shipped fully assembled with an S&S 3 Year Factory
Warranty.

Super ‘E’ & ‘G’
S&S 17/8 &
21/16 Super ‘G’ feature
adjustable volume pump,
enrichment device for ease of starting
and a throttle spool assembly designed for
late 2 cable operation. Supplied with tear drop
air cleaner, mounting bracket and black fuel
line. Super ‘E’ carb is approximately 17/16” shorter
than the Super ‘B’ carb, making installation length
of the Super ‘E’ the same as stock. Can
be used with 3.5 or 5.0 gallon Fatbob tanks.
The 11/8” is for street stock applications, 21/16”
for big bore and race use. Intake manifold clamps
or flanges must be purchased separately when
they are required.
